SurfGSD is a premier British surf school operating our famous Junior surfing academy at Caswell Beach near Swansea now for over a decade.

If you live in or near Swansea then the after school surfing is ideal for future surfers. We run sessions during school terms after school meeting at 16.30 or 18.00 the sessions last for 75 mins and a block of 4 can be paid for online here > After school surfing at Caswell Beach

If, you are not lucky enough to live by our amazing coastline then don't panic we operate our school holiday surfing club seven days a week! Drop off & sign in at 09.30 a.m then pick up at 15.30 all our staff have been with us for many years, have enhanced CRB certification, lifeguard and BSA surf coaching awards. The surf academy involves many aspects of surfing including water confidence games, sea swimming and paddling plus junior lifesaving. Work will take place and hope to be completed in time for the summer. The investment will see the free weight area extended making way for a new range of state-of-the-art equipment, including addtional dumbbells and bench presses.

PLUS! For all those Spin enthusiasts, a brand new Spin Studio is being installed complete with disco lights to add to the already energised atmosphere of our weekly spin classes!

SurfGSD operate a plethora of junior surfing courses from Spring until the end of October see list below and if you would like a bespoke course then contact the surfschool and we will organise for you:

After School Surfing > During term time we operate after school junior surfing classes at Caswell Beach, Swansea from Monday - Friday starting at 16.30 pick up 18.00. The cost is £30 for a block of four sessions with all equipment included. The aim of this course is to cover all the aspects required to produce a well rounded surfer. Book now

Half Day Junior Surfing > During most school holidays, SurfGSD operates the Junior Surfing Academy seven days a week. The half day can be used either in the morning meeting at 09.15 a.m or 12.45 in the afternoon. Book now

All Day Junior Surfing > During most school holidays, SurfGSD operates the Junior Surfing Academy meeting at 09.30 at Caswell Beach near Mumbles. Pick up time is 15.30 Book Now

5 Days of Junior Surfing > 5 days of surf for £130 (Mon-Fri) Please note you can pick the days you would like to surf throughout the holidays. This 5 day deal does not have to run in one week, days can be picked during the school holidays. Book now

Yes folks at last we have just had the last advert in and the map will be on it's way to the printers later.

Cafe Valence, Mumbles offers a delicious breakfast served in the rear of the café bar overlooking the Oystermouth castle. The cafe also has free wifi. Top tip try the bacon baguette with brie..

Surfside Cafe  three great cafe all with sea views over looking Langland Bay and Caswell Bay, the breakfast roll is very nice here!

Three Cliffs coffee shop  after a good walk you deserve that tasty piece of cake and a velvet tasting latte. Located on Gower with good parking and short walks to many gorgeous gower beauty spots this is a must stop eatery.

P.A's Wine Bar Restaurant, Mumbles 

P.A's wine bar offers a blackboard menu of daily specials changing every 24 hours and the fish menu changing every week, it's always going to be a new culinary experience and certainly something special.

Hanson at the Chelsea located in Swansea.  Amos and I ate here last night (21st August) and the food was superb. This is a must eat at restaurant whilst visiting us here in Wales. Our verdict 'Excellent' well done guys!

The Viceroy of India based in Swansea   Three of us had a meal here last Sunday evening (July 5th) after surfing, it was agreed by all at the table that it was the best curry house in Swansea! Go and try it for yourself, you will taste the difference.
